Was it expected? Probably.
Long fingers touched the cup's rim, letting his finger circle over it. Picking it up, he smelled at it, but smiled softly. He was waiting for a guest. The apprentice of an acquaintance, someone that was searching for something of the truth. The truth, of course, was something that the man didn't necessarily know. He needed more details, and the apprentice would, of course provide him with all of them. After all, if he wanted the information, that's how it would end up. It always ended up that way.
Although, his gut seemed to tug at him, trying to tell him something. He never listened to it directly, he just took that feelings and instincts were things that triggered at odd times. Not that he cared much for it, because information was the power he sought, and needed of course. Well, it was like mixing grapes with oranges - some things were more inferior then others. Taking a sip of his drink, he let himself relax, waiting for the moment to come knocking wonderfully at his door.
Ridque did hope that the apprentice had something amusing to tell him to say the least. After all, it wouldn't do to move this things around only to find out about some miserable little cheating escapade - the resources had to be worth the information gotten indeed. And to know that he was being sought for the amount of information he held, considering the price he held, meant that the apprentice was quite rich to say the least. So settled in the office room of the villa, right near the door, he'd wait.
And would hope that the wait was quite worth it's own time.

All that was left behind was ashes and memories. Ariana was not entirely forgotten - no, he would never forget her. Though there was a year's difference in age between them, there was something about the two children that made everyone think they were twins, born of the same soul. They were a single flame, radiant and bright, and yet they were unlucky. Tragedy would befall them and so it did. The flame was put out. Only smoke remained, but smoke could kill just as well as fire. Felyse was not here to kill, no matter how strong the desire was. He would only strike when the time was right - when he knew, for sure, who had ripped his beloved sister from him. Perhaps that time would come sooner than later. A lead had led him here, to this villa, and soon after, he had the opportunity for a meeting. Of course, he would only be here playing the part of a scholar's apprentice, not the part of a truth-seeking vigilante. That was what the maid saw him as when he arrived at the door, that was what he introduced himself as - a noble seeking greater knowledge of the world. And it was knowledge he sought today. She disappeared momentarily, but then she returned, beckoning him to head towards the office. He did, coming to the door and pausing outside it to knock lightly before his hand came to the handle, and within a moment the door was pushed open. Though he was a scholar's apprentice, he was also a nobleman, just like Ridque Gilmus.

Slowly, the other was brought to his grasp. Ridque waited for the man to enter, and with a gesture, indicated a chair. ''Sit. Would you like some tea?'' he asked, courteous. The nice persona had to be up, and respectable. Although his eyes roamed over the male. The features felt familiar, achingly so. Unbidden, she came to his mind again, a beautiful girl like the moon, and then the shivering, coldness of her skin upon death.
He remembered her, like anyone would remember the first time that they had done something. Since then, he knew his path was slowly edging deeper, and deeper, but luckily he had managed to play the situation to his advantage.
Considering that Irkallan nobility was getting irritating for one, and that in his own way, he had fulfilled her wish. Twisted yes, but he had figured that perhaps, just perhaps, he could embrace it. The dark needs in him, the things that he had began with that one event. A ball the rolled without his bidding.
Without really missing a beat, he would push forward. ''So, perhaps you can tell me what you seek?'' he asked of the man. The one that sought the truth, that wanted to rustle the people around for the things hidden in the political web of lies. Rich was a thing, but seeing him, Ridque knew he was dealing with a noble first and foremost, and that was tempting to him. Although an apprentice, he still held rank, and that demanded it's own respect.
So maybe it might turn interesting, if he was willing to apprentice himself to learn more knowledge, and then sought him for the truth, from vague rumours and intents that several people have used already. He'd have to make a note to send an agent deep into Irkallan to extent his reach.
Well once he had solidified his position within Sharra itself of course.

As he entered, his eyes found the man, and they momentarily focused on the gesture towards a chair. Felyse - ever the charmer - immediately went to the indicated seat, sitting down without much thought and settling down, one leg being brought to rest on the knee of his other leg. Very quickly Felyse found himself also resting his chin on his hand with his elbow on the arm of the chair. He was the rebellious child. His brother was calm, holding himself in a respectable manner, and he appeared complaisant. His dear sister was pleasant and sweet, and proper when she needed to be. Felyse was carefree, full of bravado and lust. It wasn't that he was disrespectful, he was just honest and open about himself. "It would be greatly appreciated." Felyse might have been speaking carefully, but his tone was monotonous, as though bored. He did not act courteous, and perhaps that was just another reason why his parents temporarily exiled him. What was it he sought? Information, quite simply, but he had a need to play this game carefully. It was a game of chess, and one wrong move could end in a punishment or even death. He would not die before his sister's killer. "I simply wish to get to know you, Gilmus." It was more complex than that, but if he were to simplify all his desires, the phrase would be that. "I believe it is important for all nobles to know each other," So that they knew who they could trust, and who not to trust. "After all, agreements are harder to come to when you do not know the other party, and I, and my brother, have no want for a civil war as a result of a disagreement between two bickering nobles." Felyse allowed himself a smile. "And mi maestro wants me to get to know all kinds of people."RIDQUE GILMUSeee this took ages i'm so sorry!! school kind of sapped away my motivation for posts ;n;
