[attr="class","appbody"] [attr="class","appcat"]bio Who were the people in the lucky couple that produced a pair of children with blue hair? Nobody actually knows, considering the two children were found, abandoned, at a young age. Growing up, half the people of the sleepy countryside that Larsa knew said they were brave soldiers who fought arsonists. Other people claimed they must have been snatched up by a dragon that burned down a few villages in the past. Whichever it was, neither really concerned Larsa. Which meant, from the beginning, it was the two of them against the world. Or rather, two of them against the cows. Two of them against the chickens clucking around the farm of their adoptive guardians. And perhaps, he would have been content with that life. Although he gazed at his sister in awe as she recounted stories of monster slaying, Larsa went immediately back to milking the cows. Also, mixing cauldrons. Blowing them up. Yelling for his sister to help clear the smoke because she's the competent one, of course. Unfortunately, life is not fair, and instead of living out his days until he was buried with the cow manure, a group of arsonists and a dragon thought the Karimi farm made for an appealing target. He lost everything in the fires, but he did not lose Alya, only because the girl had left home a long time ago. Once upon a time, she left him with a red mask. It was probably supposed to be a joke, but Larsa wore it around the farm because it came from Alya. Despite being much older now, he still wears the stupid thing over his eyes. This is the boy who used to cry when his sister presented him with a small reptilian monster corpse because he thought it was gross and terrifying. This is, also, the boy who realizes that sometimes you need to hack at a thing or two with a sword in order to earn a living. [attr="class","appcat"]lore & abilities "Be the best that you can be". That's probably how Larsa would describe it. His magic is centered around enhancement, improving the state of an object or living being. Such magic can, typically, be classified into three categories, the primary one falling under buffs. Do you have fists of steeled nerves? If he's lucky and feeling confident, Larsa might be able to harden them even further and make your slugs feel like the enemy was being whacked with blocks of metal. Are you strong? Need someone to make you super strong? He's your man. These buffs are limited strictly to the physical state of things, so unfortunately, he cannot make you smarter (or himself better at magic, much to his dismay). The second state his enhancement magic manifests itself is in basic healing. Thanks to plenty of practice and a witch hired to tutor him by his sister, he can improve a living thing's natural healing capabilities. Paper cuts? No problem. Fever? He can give your immune system a boost. Bleeding to death? You'll feel exhausted afterwards because it's technically you healing yourself with him giving you a hand, but you'll regain consciousness with a fully-healed wound. The final state of enhancement magic falls under physical objects. Larsa can improve the physical state of an object. Unfortunately, this final state is equivalent to playing Russian roulette. You never know what's going to pop out of his cauldron. This form of magic is hit or miss, and for the most part, he ends up with a complete miss. One time, he dropped a mouse in the cauldron and ended up with a very, very big mouse. Alya had to slay it for him. Along the way, he made friends with a squirrel. Nursed it back to health, and the critter wouldn't leave, much to his dismay. Larsa likes to complain about how the thing eats all his food, but he gave it a name and calls it Maverick. All in all, 100% human with a few magic tricks up his sleeve. 100% weenie. 0% combat abilities. 100% getting his ass handed to him in a fight. 100% will cry for his big sister. 500% she'll kick your ass. | [attr="class","appname"]LARSA KARIMI [attr="class","appicon"] [attr="class","appstats"] AGE: 17 SEX: M RACE: HUMAN HOMELAND: EASTERN SHELF CONTRACT: N [attr="class","appquote"]tell it to the moon, the earth, the sun, the stars, and the sky |
