[attr="class","round"] The Rusted Key Perplexes me A beautiful city expands before her, rife, alive.
She was curious so her steps, cautious at first, find themselves running. Eventually the steps are not longer walking, but dancing, celebrating a place of art. People watched, and she stayed here, feeling pride that people watched her. This was some time ago now, and her days were filled with such moments, watching the city wake, and to dance in tandem with the rising sun. She loved it.
Today was another of these days, as she let her dances draw the attention of the passing people. Some gave coins in her ceramic bowl, some gave compliments. To her it mattered not what they did, so long as they watched. Sometimes, she'll stop and on her breaks help someone - humans were fascinating, curious even. She wanted to learn more as she always did.
And today was a spinning day. Settled in that one corner that belonged to her, an expanse of a few feet honestly, she twirled and spun, letting her body move and jump in the air. Perhaps someone would approach her - some did for reasons she couldn't fathom - or perhaps she would be left on her own devices again. Whichever was the result, she didn't really mind. In fact, she was excited and anticipated whatever would come of this day, for each one was special and unique.
For this life was something she wanted to observe more and more.

Saskia had wandered the streets in a daze, stomach grumbling, until her hunger overcame her pride and she glamoured a successful looking merchant into pressing a few gold coins into her hand so she could buy a kebab of steaming white sweet-tasting fish. She ate as she scanned the streets. She didn't know what she was looking for, beyond something that would help her fulfill her oath. But she didn't know what that would be, or what form it might take, or if she would even know it when she saw it, so when her gaze fell upon the dancing girl instead, she let herself drift towards her without purpose. Saskia watched for a long moment or two, licking the last of the fish from her fingers wistfully, and then spoke: "How can you dance without music?"AUVREA IATOROLAIKA OF GAGNAM STYLE

[attr="class","round"] The Rusted Key Perplexes me Pretty.
No, no.
Beautiful.
Auvrea smiled, as someone was curious enough to speak to her. Generally, she would retreat, but with a spin and release breath, she stopped a moment. The question was curious, and the red haired girl just softly looked down, her hair falling a bit over her eyes.
''I listen to the music inside of me.'' she replied.
''If someone wishes to make music for me to dance to, I'd dance still.'' she added, her eyes flickering from her slightly bowed head to look at the other. A beautiful girl, and Auvrea didn't feel trapped, but happy that someone wanted to speak to her. Her body shuffled for a moment, anxious by the pause.
And she couldn't help, but slowly return to the dance, to a music only she could hear.

A music inside of her: Saskia thought she understood that, maybe. That was how her magic had always called her: to song. But all she said: "It would be my privilege to sing for such a dancer. I only hope that my words do not diminish your dance, but I should think that nothing can."Saskia stepped behind and to the side of the other girl, letting her take center stage, and sat down cross-legged. She sang. When Spring is come to garth and field, and corn is in the blade, When blossom like a shining snow is on the orchard laid, When sun and shower upon the earth with fragrance fill the air, I'll linger here, and will not come, because my land is fair!
When Summer warms the hanging fruit and burns the berry brown; When straw is gold, and ear is white, and harvest comes to town; When honey spills, and apple swells, though wind be in the West, I'll linger here beneath the Sun, because my land is best!
When Winter comes, and singing ends; when darkness falls at last; When broken is the barren bough, and light and labour past; I'll look for thee, and wait for thee, until we meet again: Together we will take the road beneath the bitter rain!
Together we will take the road that leads into the West, And far away will find a land where both our hearts may rest.It was a merry and quick song, one that her people had often sung at festive gatherings, and the sight of the girl's dancing had reminded her of those distant times. The magic of her voice was such that as Saskia sang and the girl danced, the images that she sang of came to life around them and trees laden with fruit and bright, tall flowers seemed to appear and sway to the rhythm of the music. A few curious passerby's even tried to reach for a gleaming apple or a white daisy, but their hands passed through the plants as if through mist. AUVREA IATOROLAIKA OF GAGNAM STYLE

[attr="class","round"] The Rusted Key Perplexes me The red haired girl smiled, nodding. Her own music would never fade, so she thought.
She had learned to mix her music to others, when? She wasn't sure, but she had always done so. The girl's voice sent shivers through the monster, and her steps melded into the voice, and into the words. Letting her body represent them, showing them a world through voice and movement. Her attention was such that she had not noticed the illusion like effects around her.
Rather she had felt it more then seen it.
Merry and quick, her movements matched, shifting, the spins more wild and grand in their own ways. In fact, the startled watchers would notice something - at her feet, sparks were happening. Her own magic, deep inside, rose and layered itself around the other girl's strengthening the illusion. Auvrea let herself be lost in the music and the movement, letting it carry her. Her magic now around her, it began to change her clothes. Into beautiful designs to reflect the setting, shifting during the song.
And Auvrea could not help but smile during it, the joy welling up inside of her like a warming campfire. She had been right - the girl was beautiful, and the creature wanted to know more, to dance more with her. It was something that surged in her chest, and she did not know how to deal with it like most things.
All she knew, is that she perhaps felt greedy for the first time in a long, long time, wanting something and hoarding it.
She didn't ever want to let go of this moment.

The last note of her song hung in the air for a long moment, clear and strong as a bell, the sound extended by the magic twining through her voice, and then faded away. Without knowing how, Saskia found herself back on her feet and she strode closer to Auvrea. The illusions conjured by her own magic faded as her attention drifted from maintaining them, but her interest was only in the scenes that danced across the other girl's garments. "That was incredible," she said, her natural reserve loosened by joy and disbelief. "I've never had anything like that happen to me. I didn't know you were a witch--I didn't expect to find anyone in the lowlands like you. My name is Saskia Verso."
She curtsied slightly, still in awe. AUVREA IATOROLAIKA OF GAGNAM STYLE
