[attr="class","appbody"] [attr="class","appcat"]bio valentino is like, the worst name ever, so he mostly introduces himself as cervantes these days. family and people who know him from way back call him val, though. cervantes claims to be but a simple farmer's son, out to find his fortune and make a name for himself. the truth, however, is never so clear cut. in reality, his father is a relatively well known shoemaker and his mother does some "light paperwork" for a "mining company," whatever that means. the point is, cervantes has never wanted for money or anything else, really. while such a ruse is faulty at best and unnecessary at worst, cervantes strives to maintain it, despite literally no one buying it. his shoes are too nice, or something. his actual reasons for leaving home are not well known, and likely have been covered up by his family. long story short, one of his childhood friends is missing (possibly dead).
