shakti cuts a tiny silhoutte against the dark, heavy slits of fencing. she could probably slide her shoulders between them, slip like a cat into the courtyard and wander their gardens.
they are beautiful and bright even in the dreariness of a fog that seems to devour all colour into its thick white belly. the flowers are blurred, and squinting, she turns her head and imagines it a tapestry of tales. something truly beautiful, her glory. rolling hills of green and gold, skyward sword, beasts bloated and dead at her feet.
she's still smiling, faintly, when she turns, shoulders against the bars and watching the figure step out of the fog. |

The fog is very annoying, Killian's noticed. It blocks his vision in a way that he doesn't like, makes it harder to see clearly, but at the same time there's something beautiful about it. It makes him feel weightless, as if he's surrounded by clouds - whimsical. The silhouette shatters his vision, and there's a momentary thought in the back of his mind asking why is she outside his house? There's no telling what the figure is thinking, and considering he's already been robbed before, he's not keen on having a repeat. As he gets closer, the silhouette seems to take form, though he does not recognize it. "Hello?" He puts a grin on his face, letting his hands be placed on his hips. Briefly, he wonders if he looks like a mother scolding a young child. "Can I help you?"SHAKTI. |

her arms are behind her back, curled around the fence's bars, and with the angle her hips jut out at, he could make out a jewelled scabbard, a sword's intricate hilt, a dagger. the weapons are extravagant, melodramatic on her small frame. the jewels don't glint in this dull light, but her eyes are bright and her words are sharp. "can you?" she speaks with a simplicity of a question and the precision of a threat, but her tone is good-natured - he seems someone important. "i'm not causing trouble, am i?"

For a brief moment, his eyes are drawn to the dagger that sits upon her hip. It is out of place on a child, or at least, that is what she is to him. She doesn't look like she couldn't be much older than seventeen, and he finds himself frowning as he assesses her. "Probably." It's a possibility, at the very least - so long as what she needs doesn't break a major, minor, or moral law. Somewhere, deep in his mind, her words register as a threat, but he chooses to ignore it. "Not quite. Just a little weird for a girl to be hanging outside my home in the middle of the fog." At night, he adds silently. It's almost like the beginning to some sinister plan. SHAKTI |

shakti smiles - she is no threat; a light laugh, a billow of hair as she shakes her head. she's armed to the teeth but still seems small, leaning up against the tall fence.
"oh," standing up a little straighter, she cocks her head, lets her hands slide off the bars. "i guess that it is suspicious, if it's yours. i just didn't want to get lost." she steps closer, hands loose at her sides, glancing over her shoulder at the towering home.
"it was sudden. the fog." she looks to him for agreement.
