ava is a nomad hailing from the centerspine mountains. she narrowly escaped her champion a while ago, but she's still paranoid about it. she makes a living off of playing music sometimes.[break][break]
ava is usually solitary and doesn't leave much room for beating around the bush. beyond that, she's partial to being a monster rather than human. she doesn't really care for human customs when it comes to being polite and etc. there's potential to be a sweetheart, but right now it's mostly a jumble of emotions that makes for a slightly discouraged bird-human.[break][break]

for real though: samuel is a witch living in shara. he doesn't do much but sit around his home and read books or draw or pray to the goddess (im being serious). illusion magic is his forte but he also dapples in some elemental stuff for recreational purposes.[break][break]
the deal with his eyes is that his mom did some bad black magic while she was pregnant, and it left its mark by coloring them red and black. he's honestly so angsty about it and knows next to no black magic because of it, it's also why he's so invested in the goddess's teachings.[break][break]
he's kind of a pretend fuckboy because he makes this show of being an ass when he's afraid of people judging him. he's pretty sweet otherwise, if not melancholic almost to a fault.

torian is a farmer boy that grew up way out in the country around shara. he's got a multitude of siblings, but he's the only boy among them, so a lot of the farm work was left to him. a storm ruined all their crops and now they live with a rich military uncle in shara.[break][break]
currently he's with a mercenaries guild to get some exercise (and money). beyond that, he's kind of your average joe. he's all about loyalty and being strong enough to protect your loved ones—yeah, he's that guy. he's not really rude, but he's really dedicated and likes to voice his morals a lot.[break][break]

arlo lives in irkalla. he's a basic military guy and the only reason he keeps his job is because his dad is a much higher rank than him. not that he likes it—if he could have his way, he'd stay in their mansion all the time and sleep or complain.[break][break]
he spends a lot of time out of the house (probably drinking). he's really bitter about his lifestyle and emulates it judgmentally or indifferently. he treats the majority of people the same, and in general he just doesn't give a damn.[break][break]

im gonna be 100% honest, myrrha is my absolute favorite right now (his name is pronounced meer-ah). he's a wendigo from the northern wastes. he's apart of a kind of monster group dedicated to hunting down or drawing out champions so that the leader - who is also a wendigo - can eat them.[break][break]
myrrha likes to follow his instincts through and through. morals are useless because they get in the way of his next meal. being constantly hungry, he's always looking for something to snack on. he's attracted to power and dedicated to his personal agenda. if he has any ounce of respect for someone, chances are he'll split when they lose their worth.[break][break]

ERIK ALEJANDRO & ava yeah ava is probably pretty weird around humans and she could probably use some tips from a monster-in-hiding (sort of) like herself... ok honestly im just looking 4 an excuse to thread w u murk we never have enough threads 2gether ELIJAH ODOM & ava bruh im with you im literally the worst at plots tbqh elijah seems really nice and ava would probably be wary and skittish.....but shes always skittish.....we'd probably have to thread them together to see what would come of it but i want a thread with you dammit

AVA HAYES i kind of have this thread idea for for saskia running into ava as she makes her way through the centerspine mountains to the empire immediately following the attack on her home. god its hard to plot saskia bc i want her to have a "linear" story but she was in a p bad place following that event and i think something happened between leaving home as an exile and arriving in thebes that like...grounded her somewhat or something. all that emotion had to go somewhere. and I LOVE AVA AVA IS PERFECT so i kind of like want to bounce her off her and see what happens, especially in that state. does this make sense. at all.

IGNATIA WEAVER omfg ava is going to have spiderwebs stuck in her feathers and hair for like days.... but lol ava starts spitting fire (figuratively) when she is just angry that she is a giant bird stuck in a web like the more i think about it the funnier it gets lets do it SASKIA VERSO yes.... saskia is just really interesting to me? i mean i love her app tbh and i think she and ava would be such a good thread? i guess ava is kind of... down to earth in the sense of fate and stuff, and im not sure how saskia would have ava being all 'take control yrself' when saskia is in that state. thoughts??? i can throw up a thread in centerspine if you're still up for it man

LET'S PLOT MARI SAMUEL ETTEM & anya YO, ANYA IS A WITCH IN SHARA TO HOLLA @ HER. so i know sam is basically a recluse but... maybe one day he's out and about and bumps into (maybe literally) anya and she sees his eyes and totally freaks out in a non "oh my god wtf monster" way and more in a "woah cool" way bc she'll be super curious abt his eyes and want to know what happen and maybe she can offer her help to maybe reverse it??? she works with mainly, mind fuckery type of magic, but hey, who knows, she's pretty well-versed in black magic maybe they can think of something?? oh yeah and that whole "pretend fuckboy" thing, ya she's probably not goona deal with that so... straight up she'll probs be pretty harsh on him, BUT i think if she can get past the whole "it was an act thing, he's not actually... a fuckboy" they could maybe get along??? idk plots man. AVA HAYES & etta FELLOW BIRDS. FELLOW MUSCIANS. FELLOW NOMADS. please let them interact in some way please. etta is... kind of detached, but she knows how to reattach herself as well and i think she could find a to find comfort in ava somehow because they're so similar. tbh ava might remind etta of her family, but when she realises that ava is not a siren she'll chill because... only sirens, humans and fish appeal to her tbh. maybe they share they meet while travelling around, maybe ava's performing and etta is interested or vice versa and they sorta just... hit it off?? because i figure etta can be friendly enough at times... idk |

ANYA FEDOV & sam sam is less....afraid.....of other witches i feel but then that whole thing backfires if they're well versed in black magic probably. anyas all about his eyes and he's probably mortified for a small bit before he initiates fuckboy mode and anya ain't havin any of that so he breaks down and begs for mercy (and finally just kinda gives her a vague gist of it if she was persistent enough) fun times sam's new so that's all i got rn gomen ETTA & ava dude if they hit it off cam's monster will be friendly with his bae lmao they do have a lot in common (but ava doesnt eat sirens or humans....) and honestly she's kind of used to be being alone species-wise, so meeting etta (and having her around for a bit for that matter) would probably be a really weird "oh... u like thing i like thing too" period, ja feel. it seems like they would have a distant stage like that at first but if they ever got past it i think they would be such good birdbros. avas never really had a family so etta has potential to like.... remind her of what family would be and now im getting mad emotional over giant birds im finished
