CERUL D'AMORE MONSTER 108 YEARS OLD ALIGNED WITH SELF CONTRACT: LOOKING [attr="class","cheese"]Cerul D'amore, the terrifying many-eyed serpent fairy with a dramatically more bishōnen human form (minus the horns, of course). A generally neutral and malicious race, Cerul belongs to the feyfolk; though sometime in the past eighty years he ventured out and set up hold in a town. He reads the fortune of the common men as work and asks for nothing more than secrets in return as payment, getting a thrill from the thoughts and views and petty tales of his little acquaintances. He's plagued with neurosis even by fairy standards and doesn't seem to care much for any higher political or worldly matters-- hell, obsession or not, he barely cares for man as a whole past what offers him amusement. Truth be told Cerul has been around for much longer than just a century, though the exact timeframe is hard to pin down, having been reincarnated multiple times over by this point at the hands of an unknown Champion. | EDEN FARRON CHAMPION 18 YEARS OLD ALIGNED WITH IRKALLA CONTRACT: LOOKING [attr="class","cheese"]Eden Farron is a very loyal, honest and amiable girl. She's a rather sweet girl but is by no means innocent, just friendly. Her mother was killed at the hands of Shara and that image is forever burned into her mind, while her Father died many years prior. She's devoted to the Irkallan cause and serves as a courier between the various leaders of the council and anyone else within the city that has need of her. She is not aware that she is contracted and the circumstances around the contract's origins are vague at best. (for the moment) She has a very violent grudge towards the empire and is very unwelcoming to anything or anyone that has anything to do with it, to the point that she will not(only slightly) hesitate to take up arms herself. | ? ? ?

castion is who i'm posting on and the most likely of my chars to run into cerul. he's a mercenary witch who is currently shacked up with the thebes head of house so he's In The Area. i think if he heard rumors about cerul he would definitely be interested in going out to find him? castion is powerful but has a vast ego/sense of self and i think it'd be interesting for him to run into someone who views humans as amusements. he's used to always being dealt with seriously.
thalia is my steadfast imperial champion and loyal (?) soldier. she's contracted to another monster but did time in the centerspine mountains/around thebes driving back other monsters with the army. maybe they ran into each other in a flashback? for a champion she's kind of lax on the monster front, as long as they're not harming people. i actually really like the idea of her getting her fortune read by him at some point...
morwen is a pet orc in irkalla who gets trotted out for the upper class. i'm unsure of how she could ever run into cerul but the possible dynamic fascinates me so if you have any ideas hmu.
nathaniel is a dark elf who has basically been hanging around since the dawn of monsters. v old and v jaded. like cerul he is fascinated with mortals. he prefers them to his own kind and travels a lot because his human wife is a champion (contracted to someone else) who reincarnates every hundred years or so and he goes traveling while she's dead/a child. i can weirdly see him and cerul getting along...?
zeyn if you're looking for a champion for cerul, zeyn might be ur girl. she is the non-witch firstborn of a family where you have to be witch to rule and has a complex the size of a house about it. she's an imperial soldier serving under thalia (i'm incestuous as fuck all) and spends a lot of her time desperately trying to enter into a contract with a monster so she can at least be worth something, even if she isn't a witch. she tries to hide that desperation with varying degrees of success.
i also have zahir, an irkallan politican with a dead witch in his head and saskia a witch from the baronies out on a roaring rampage of revenge, but i'm having a hard time thinking of anything they might get up to with cerul, sadly.

witches are so interesting to cerul because they're the closest a mortal is ever going to get to being a fey and they fascinate him, mainly how they got into their powers and what they do with them. CASTION MEDESS being introduced to him could end up being really amusing with how their views/personalities might clash. cerul is pretty arrogant about his own status in the world, demonstrated in how easily he looks down on man. THALIA DE LUCA terrifies me we should do it. in his current incarnation at least cerul has never killed a mortal (what would be the fun in that?) so he's not exactly a threat, though he is rather powerful on the magic front. he's always up for reading a fortune for anyone, monster, witch, champion-- as long as they have something interesting to offer in return. what kind of deep dark secrets does thalia keep hidden, nn? LU-SHALIM and cerul as old friends, maybe? he might have even known cerul before his current reincarnation, with how long the feyfolk's soul has been around. he would be so THRILLED at the idea of nathaniel being mated to a champion of all things like i'm getting shivers thinking about it. it's something cerul has never even considered before. i want ZEYN BELET to step on me tbqh. i read her profile awhile back and have held a spot in my heart for her since. i have it set up that cerul is already contracted just i have no idea who his champion is (so neither does he) so if you're fine with already technically being in a contract with zeyn i'm :3c at the prospect. though i must warn you that i'm not exactly jumping at the thought of this incarnation being killed anytime soon. you have so many characters and they're all fantastic dokidoki |

Hey, you, yes you. Auvrea is, by some form of extension, a fey herself because of the nature of her monster - but that's a lot of jargon. More (relatively) friendly faces are good for the neurotic fairy. Cerul out in town for a bit of fresh air and running into the dancing fire spirit, purrhaps? I can't see them being friends exactly, which is more a problem with cerul's nature than anyfin else, but I can see him stopping to chat and maybe ward off anyone causing trouble. He'd be interested in her reasoning for all she does, dancing or else.
